Deal advisory
KPMG
Business Advisory Intern, Deal Advisory
Valuation and three-statement modelling inside the Deal Advisory practice — including an independent valuation of a Pakistan–Türkiye dairy joint venture, performed for both shareholders to support a stake transfer between them.
- Training. Built two feasibility models end to end: a 10-year coffee shop DCF at a 16.38% WACC, stress-tested at ±5% on revenue and cost across best, base and worst cases; and a 12-year, four-city restaurant rollout with independent escalators for revenue, cost, capex and salaries.
- Contributed to an independent valuation of Nishat Sutas Dairy Limited, a joint venture carrying sustained operating losses. I built Excel models to estimate fair value and inform negotiation.
- Supported senior advisors with financial reporting and analysis across engagements spanning energy, infrastructure and dairy, down to the underlying journal entries
- Wrote research memos and client-ready presentations from the financial analysis

Media analytics
Kinetic
Business Analyst Intern, Rotational Program
Pakistan's market leader in out-of-home planning, part of the WPP/GroupM network. One of two interns selected, rotated through five departments, and tracked CAD 1m+ of media spend across three national campaigns for two blue-chip clients.
→ led directly to the OOH Campaign Performance Analyzer
- Client servicing and planning. Worked incoming client briefs, then planned against them in Katalyst, Kinetic's proprietary and industry-first platform, across an inventory of 12,000+ outdoor sites with competitor data attached — and saw how agency teams build and hold the relationships those briefs come from.
- Execution and finance. Coordinated supply side and vendors to get booked plans into market, and assisted with the invoicing, cash-flow tracking and record-keeping behind them in Odoo.
- Throughout. Reconciled over CAD 1m+ (PKR 200m) in media spend, rebuilding Excel dashboards daily from tracking-team data on reach, impressions and return on ad spend, feeding client pitch and review decks.
What it led to
That reconciliation only ever ran at the end of a campaign — weeks after anything could be done about an under-delivering site. The problem was structural rather than clerical, which is what made it worth building around. Read the case study →
Research
Justdiggit
Funder research, Kijani regreening app
Landscape restoration in Africa; my part was fundraising research — screening corporate and philanthropic prospects against mission fit and giving capacity, and building the priority outreach list the team worked from.
- Owned funder research for the Kijani regreening app, screening prospects against mission fit and giving capacity
- Built the priority outreach list the team worked from, separating funders who could give from funders who would
- Wrote the research briefs behind that shortlist, turning funder mandates and giving histories into a case for why each prospect would back landscape restoration
